HTTP Tools ("the application") is a desktop application that runs entirely on your local device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data or usage information.
All data created within the application — including saved requests, request history, and header templates — is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database located at ~/.http-tools/data.db. This data never leaves your device.
The application makes network connections only when you explicitly send an HTTP request to a URL of your choosing. The application itself does not initiate any background network connections, telemetry, analytics, or update checks.
HTTP Tools does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the application.
The application generates a local log file at ~/.http-tools/http-tools.log for diagnostic purposes. This log file is stored only on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
HTTP Tools does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
